BAND APP—
We use the BAND app in place of Remind. After researching, it offers more features and is more user friendly than Remind. It also has less restrictions than Remind had. There are QR invite codes on the website and Facebook group: 1) Full Band (everyone), 2) all percussion and 3) all colorguard. Everyone please use your first and last name when creating your profiles (no nicknames, gamer tags, etc…). Parents, you may use “Mr” or “Mrs” for your first name if you would like. This will also allow us to monitor section chats more efficiently and in one app. Everyone please include your phone numbers when creating your profiles. The app also has a text feature in case we need to send out something in an emergency. You can also signup online at

ALL RETURNING MEMBERS/PARENTS- no need to sign up again, just make sure profile information is up-to-date.

Reminder we have our public Facebook page for the community for follow and keep up with major events and updates with the band. That page is “Spanish Fort HS Band”.

Our private group for parent/student is “Spanish Fort TORO Band Parents/Students”. This is another form of communication for parents and students of the band. This group is only for parents and students of the band. Please do not invite other relatives or friends to this group, you can direct them to our public Facebook page to follow and keep up with the band there.
